Not one of my favorite and neglected most of the time. Yet I have taken this topic to describe what an ideal politics shall be for the better cause.
The very strong reason for any city/state/country to suffer is the division of the people into religions, castes, communities, sectors, groups etc. From ages the politics is executed using this single mantra "divide and rule". This has been a simple and yet very powerful tool for all the novice politicians. Since the ancient history all the greatest rulers, empires, dictators, communists, democratic people have fallen and witnessed the greater loss because of the same divide and rule method. In this method nobody wins and nobody survives. some fall sooner some fall later. It always ends in a tragedy and the cycle begins with the new set of divisions and new rulings. The secret weapon of the people who encourage divide and rule is emphasizing individual identity and provoking people based on the false history built up on the same because of the continuous cycle of division started from men and women reached up to the extent of two people with different hairstyle.
What i call an ideal politics is based on completing the system with the cooperation and coexistence of individuals. I know that everyone are not equal in their abilities but everyone is equal if people are matched with the environments in which they grew up. A political system with the uniform environment would create the easy understanding of the nature.
It's not necessary to have the single leader to lead the nation, neither there is a need to lead the set of leaders to guide them leading their followers. All it requires is a catalyst to make sure everyone is connected with each other as humans not just by titles. Everyone is a leader in himself/herself, if they are capable of leading their life of their own without harming others. Being dependent on others is not bad, depend on each other with equal portions, such that both help each other to move forward together.
I agree to the fact that even if the entire resources in this world is equally distributed amongst the people, within 24 hours, the resources will go off balance by more than 50%. I am not saying about changing the system overnight neither to command on change of system.
Doctors who serve people has to go through rigorous of academic excellence to treat people. Police/Law who serve people has to go through tough physical excellence to guard people. Engineers who builds tools for people for solving day to day problems has to experiment enormously to make people's life easier. Financial Sector has to understand the in and out of Money and resource with its values to let people get the continuous money flow. Businessman/Entrepreneurs risk their entire career to provide jobs to people and sustain them. And many other service sectors have their own rating scale to move forward.
The only place where the actual scale of measurement is missing is in politics. Leadership doesn't come by hierarchy or in genes. There is absolutely no common scale to evaluate the politicians.
It is not the bad politicians who spoils the politics, it is the non action of the capable person which lets the politics gets bad. A system and step by step procedure to enter the politics will encourage people with good intentions to take initiative and become part of it. Anyone with certain age limit and some money to deposit to contest an election is absolutely outdated. It might be the valid tool in the time of transition from kings/slaves to freedom/democracy period. but not now.
Now, it shall have at least the following criteria to contest itself
1. Educational background with very good percentage as well
2. Organizing social awareness camps and the feedback of all those benefited out of it
3. Conducting globally recognized project to help the needy
4. A clean record of following the system.
5. Defining a working model of the project related to finance and executing the same in reality.
And the system shall be encouraging the above by funding the bare minimums to all the contestants and then the eligible can present their work to the public to ask for the voting and the winning contestants will be assigned various jurisdictions and administrations for a period of one year and transferred to the next administration for another year and the term shall end in 5 years and get eligibility once again to contest again. Every year contestants shall participate in the activities to gain the eligibility and the qualified one will get to contest for the election and enter the politics every year. The assignment of responsibilities shall be directly related to number of votes every contestant wins.
No need of any particular party or ruling or opposition. All it requires is the written procedures of the system and a wise counselors to conduct the eligibility criteria. As the Election committee conducts the Voting. Another Evaluation committee shall conduct the eligibility. And it shall be updated with time.
